Aviagen entrusts Bolidt with flooring projects worldwide

Aviagen Broiler Breeders is a US multinational specialising in day-old grandparent and parent stock chicks. The poultry breeding company has customers in 130 countries and its brands are among the most recognised and respected names in the poultry industry. Aviagen sells broilers under three brand names, the best known of which is Ross. For this type of broiler, the company is the market leader in Europe. Aviagen also serves several niche markets. The Rowan Range brand, for instance, was developed for selected segments such as the slower-growing organic and free-range markets. Bolidt, a worldwide specialist in hygienic synthetic flooring for the poultry industry, has been supplying Aviagen since 2009. The flooring projects Bolidt has carried out for Aviagen included breeding facilities in Russia, Australia, France and Turkey. From its headquarters in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Bolidt flies over specialised application teams to check on site at the customer’s premises whether local conditions meet all the requirements that are essential to achieving a good end result.
