Royal Schelde is the purveyor to the Dutch Royal Navy and has been building all their ships for many years. Over the last few years, the shipyard has also received an increasing number of orders for naval vessels from abroad, now including the Indonesian Navy.
Bolidt has enjoyed working with the Dutch Navy and Royal Schelde for years now. The decks on all the Dutch naval vessels come from Bolidt. Not only the new builds, but also the refits of existing naval vessels are good business for Bolidt.
The old decking on these vessels is replaced by Bolidt’s Bolideck® B1 system. This synthetic deck has been purpose developed for naval applications. The system is extremely durable, wear resistant and withstands extreme climatic conditions.
Due to the good experiences the Dutch Navy had with Bolideck®, the systems will also be installed on the vessels of the Indonesian Navy.
